College of DuPage invites applications for a part-time Customer Service/Security Attendant at the McAninch Arts Center. You will provide professional customer service, ensure security, and enforce venue rules for rental events such as graduations and ceremonies.

Shifts are 4 hours minimum, with arrival 60 to 90 minutes before events, mostly evenings and weekends. CPR certification is preferred; fluency in English is required; prior customer service or volunteer experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CPR certification preferred.
• Some customer service or volunteer-related experience required.
• Proficiency in spoken English required.

Responsabilités

• Arrive 1 hour to 90 minutes prior to event and remain on duty throughout event.
• Minimum shift of 4 hours.
• Monitor and enforce a variety of rules set by renter/purchaser.
• Checking credentials including: hand stamps, wristbands, ID's, etc.
• Manage constant flow of patrons in and out of theaters.
• Provide directional information to patrons and safety measures in case of evacuation.
• Provide security and limit access to certain areas.
• Other duties as dictated by renter/purchaser.
• Provide prompt, professional and courteous responses to all patron concerns.
• Other duties as required.
