College of DuPage is seeking a Testing Specialist (PT Temp Casual) to manage a variety of tests in a busy center. You will explain requirements, handle inquiries, and ensure accurate scoring and reporting of results. The role supports students and faculty, maintains test security, and collaborates with advising when needed.

Evenings and weekends are required. A background check is mandatory, and the position is eligible for part-time, temporary employment at the College.

Formación

• Requires some college coursework in education or service related environment.
• Active ACT Ability to Benefit Test Administrator certification with annual updates.
• Two- or four-year degree with coursework in tests and measurements preferred.
• Background check conducted at College expense.

Responsabilidades

• Administer various tests including classroom make-up, Internet, and proctored formats.
• Explain test requirements and accommodate special testing needs for students.
• Address questions about testing policies and procedures from faculty and students.
• Maintain secure inventory of tests and ensure confidentiality under FERPA.
• Operate and troubleshoot testing equipment and databases as needed.
• Open and close the Testing Center per established procedures.
• Refer students to advising or other College departments when appropriate.
