Job summary

Five Below in Logansport, IN is seeking a Support Lead for part-time hours to help run daily store operations and support the store team.

You will train crew on the customer service experience, assist with receiving stock, open/close duties, cash handling, and ensure fast, friendly checkout for guests.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and monitors performance for excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations, staff management and urgent issues.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, and ensures smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
