Job summary

Delaware North at TD Garden, Boston, is seeking a part-time Culinary Supervisor. The ideal candidate is an experienced line cook who can supervise a fast-paced kitchen, ensure quality, and manage cost with strong leadership.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, safety, cleanliness, and collaboration with managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Prior supervisory experience is required; college degree is not necessary.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Attentive and detail oriented.
• Basic math skills for recipe measurements and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all team members and ensure food preparation and production meets quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers; ensure kitchen equipment works.
• Manage proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
• Open, close and perform side work duties.
• Help maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership.
• Collaborate with team and restaurant managers to satisfy guests.
