Job summary

Health Marketing seeks a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to produce high-quality scans, interpret images, and uphold safety standards for all patients in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate CT equipment, manage HIS/RIS/PACS workflows, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses while maintaining patient comfort and safety across age groups.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, with CT registration within one year.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred minimum of one year of CT experience.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and document management.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures following departmental protocols.
• Operate HIS, RIS, PACS systems for ordering, monitoring, and validating images.
• Organize patient information, reports, and prior films for interpretation.
• Interview patients, explain procedures, and obtain necessary signatures.
• Operate power injector systems and demonstrate proper radiation safety practices.
• Recognize normal and abnormal images, reporting findings to radiologists or supervisors.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, documenting any issues promptly.
• Provide patient-centered care tailored to different age groups, ensuring safety and comfort.
