Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging.

You will operate CT equipment, document patient information, and collaborate with the care team while adapting to diverse populations and evolving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required at hire; CT certification preferred or obtainable within two years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and IV certification within six weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn new technology and adapt to evolving responsibilities.

Job description

Role: CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans to produce high-quality images, exercising professional judgment, and ensuring patient safety and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and perform related procedures following protocols.
• Provide patient care, initiate life support measures if necessary, and interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Obtain and document relevant patient information to enhance personalized care.
• Potentially perform additional diagnostic radiology tasks, mobile imaging, EKGs, cardiac monitors, and DEXA procedures based on facility needs.
• Contribute to patient understanding of physical and emotional status, demonstrating adaptability across age groups.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required at hire; CT certification preferred or obtainable within two years.
• Additional licensure may be required depending on the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and IV certification within six weeks of employment.
• Ability to learn new technology, work well with diverse populations, and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
