Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans and provide exceptional patient care in Naples, FL. The role requires operating CT equipment, utilizing HIS/RIS/PACS, and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.

The candidate should have completed an approved Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT radiology certification with CT registration within one year, Florida CRT license, and BLS certification, with at least one year of CT

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, with CT registration within one year.
• Florida CRT license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of CT experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation and data management.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment, including power injectors, while adhering to department protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Understand and utilize HIS, RIS, and PACS systems for ordering, monitoring, and validating studies.
• Organize patient information, reports, and images efficiently for interpretation.
• Interview patients, explain procedures, and obtain necessary signatures to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Recognize normal and abnormal images, report findings, and assist radiologists as needed.
• Maintain equipment functionality, document issues promptly, and manage supplies effectively.
• Provide patient care tailored to age and condition, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
