Job summary

The Affinity Home Health Care Inc CT department seeks a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans and deliver compassionate patient care in Naples, FL. You will organize patient information, reports and images per department protocols, interview patients, explain procedures, and obtain signatures while operating CT equipment safely.

Qualifications include completion of a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT CT certification and CT registration within one year;

Job description

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and delivering exceptional patient care.

They must have a thorough understanding of HIS, RIS, and PACS systems, and be able to organize patient information, reports, and images efficiently.

Key duties include interviewing patients, explaining procedures, obtaining signatures, and ensuring accurate imaging according to department protocols.

They operate imaging equipment and power injector systems safely, adhering to radiation safety standards.

Technologists identify patients accurately, provide compassionate care tailored to patient age and condition, and recognize normal and abnormal imaging results for reporting.

Maintaining equipment, supplies, and documentation is essential, along with assisting in supply and linen rotation.

Qualifications include completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT certification in Radiology, and CT registration within one year.

Florida CRT license, BLS certification, and at least one year of CT experience are preferred. Basic computer skills are required.
