Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT scans and ensure patient safety. You will interview patients, explain procedures, and assist throughout the imaging process while operating CT equipment and power injectors.

Responsibilities include evaluating images, reporting results, organizing patient data, and maintaining supplies. Florida licensure and ARRT CT certification within one year are required, with BLS and 1+ year CT experience

Job description

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) is responsible for producing high-quality CT scans and delivering exceptional patient care. They must understand and operate HIS, RIS, and PACS systems for ordering, monitoring, and validating images.

They interview patients, explain procedures, and assist throughout the imaging process while ensuring proper patient identification and safety protocols. The role requires technical proficiency in operating CT equipment, power injectors, and maintaining safety standards to minimize exposure.

Technologists evaluate images for accuracy, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and report results appropriately. They organize patient information, manage supplies, and uphold departmental standards of care, teamwork, and integrity.

Qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration (with CT certification within one year), and Florida licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. BLS certification and at least one year of CT experience are preferred.
