Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. in Naples, FL is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

You will operate imaging equipment, review prior studies, explain procedures to patients, and assist radiologists by accurately identifying and reporting findings. Florida licensure and ARRT CT certification within one year are required, with BLS certification expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology with CT registration within one year.
• Florida license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification from a recognized organization.
• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures, adhering to department protocols and safety standards.
• Operate injector systems and imaging software (HIS, RIS, PACS).
• Organize and review patient information and prior images for accurate interpretation.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain signatures, and assist throughout imaging.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and tailor care to age and condition.
• Maintain equipment functionality, document malfunctions, and manage supplies.
• Report abnormal images to radiologists or supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures, adhering to department protocols and safety standards.
• Operate power injector systems and manage imaging software such as HIS, RIS, and PACS.
• Organize and review patient information, including prior images and reports, for accurate interpretation.
• Explain procedures to patients, obtain signatures, and assist throughout the imaging process.
• Identify patients with two identifiers and provide comprehensive care tailored to patient age and condition.
• Maintain equipment functionality, document malfunctions, and manage supplies.
• Recognize and report abnormal images to radiologists or supervisors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology, with CT registration within one year.
• Licensed as a Certified Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from recognized organizations.
• Preferred minimum of one year of CT technologist experience.
