Job summary

Council for Economic Education in Connecticut seeks a Manager to establish CEE's on-the-ground presence, grow programming, and cultivate local education partnerships. Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in the Connecticut K-12 education space with knowledge of regional education systems and school/district dynamics.
• Experience presenting to educators and designing/facilitating professional development programs.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face outreach within the community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Connecticut’s education community to advance economics and financial literacy education.
• Create, coordinate, and lead teacher professional development programs, including train-the-trainer models, with a goal of training 400+ educators annually.
• Conduct outreach and cultivate educators to expand professional development capacity and reach into every district.
• Lead planning and execution of professional development and academic competition events, including logistics and vendor management.
• Grow CEE programs for high school students including NEC, NPFC, NIC, and IIG.
• Work with CEE staff to develop and execute growth plans aligned to objectives.
