Job summary

The Connecticut Training and Technical Assistance Center at the University of Connecticut invites applications for Educational Program Coordinator (P3). Under the direction of the Executive Director, the role provides programmatic support including event and project coordination to advance workforce development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will design curriculum, conduct needs assessments, coordinate training sessions across Connecticut, facilitate onsite workshops, and develop outreach for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least four years of experience with the development of curriculum and/or learning resources for adult learners.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and regular judgment regarding program support details and procedures.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow through.
• Technical skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office 365 applications.
• Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with subject matter experts to provide curriculum development support for educational programs.
• Conducts needs assessments for future training needs and presents data to center leadership.
• Coordinates with instructors to schedule training sessions throughout Connecticut.
• Serves as the facilitator for onsite workshops.
• Develops promotional outreach to raise awareness of training opportunities for targeted audiences.
• Develops virtual learning opportunities for municipal, state, and private sector audiences.
• Coordinates outreach and events to support workforce development efforts.
