Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook to join our correctional facility kitchen team at the Madison, NE location. This part-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment crafting meals with attention to quality and portion control.

You will handle food preparation, presentation, storage, and safe handling procedures, while delivering excellent customer service in a demanding, mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and identify food items.
