MWR Cape May Harborview Foods in Cape May, NJ is seeking a part-time Cook-05 to prepare and cook a variety of menu items, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain sanitation and food safety. The role may include bar-related duties and inventory support.

A Food Handler's Certificate is required and physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds is expected. The position is part-time (20-29 hours/week) with a starting wage of $20.49/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and following recipes.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and do simple arithmetic.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must obtain Food Handler's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks a variety of menu items as directed.
• Operates kitchen equipment and ensures food safety.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper food temperatures.
• Covers, dates, and stores food items at close of shift.
• Assists with monthly inventories.
