Job summary

Good Samaritan in Olathe, KS is seeking a part-time food service worker to prepare and serve meals for patients, residents, staff and visitors. You will follow HACCP guidelines and recipes to ensure safe, high-quality food, maintain sanitation, and support a team in a dynamic healthcare kitchen.

The role requires the ability to read and follow instructions, basic math for measurements, and the willingness to work varied shifts. Prior experience and Serv Safe may be required based on location.

Qualifications

• Six months of applicable experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location requirements.
• Depending on location, may be required to drive. Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assemble baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adheres to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature and sanitation.
• Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery.
• Documents HACCP steps, temperatures and outcomes to assure safety of food.
