Job summary

Avante at Ormond Beach is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare resident meals, snacks and beverages in line with federal, state and local standards. You will follow established policies, assist the Dining Services Manager, and help ensure a high-quality dining experience for residents.

Qualifications include at least 2 years of culinary experience, high school diploma or GED, and ServSafe certification or certification within 90 days of hire. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food, beverages and snacks per planned menus.
• Follow portion control procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of raw and leftover foods.
• Assist with daily cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Attend in-service trainings and support dining services projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
