Job summary

Avante in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-Time Cook to prepare resident meals, snacks, and beverages per established standards. You will work 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, following menus, portion controls, and safety guidelines to ensure a quality dining experience for residents.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• ServSafe Certification (or within 90 days of hire).
• 2 years of culinary experience and HS diploma or GED equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food, beverages and snacks per menus.
• Follow portion control procedures and proper food storage.
• Assist with daily cleaning duties and sanitation.
• Perform tasks per safety and infection control policies.
