Job summary

Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orlando is seeking a Part-Time Cook to prepare resident meals, snacks and beverages according to menus and standards. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food, beverages and snacks in accordance with planned menus.
• Follow established portion control procedures.
• Ensure correct storage of raw and leftover foods.
• Assist with daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with sanitation, safety and infection control policies.
• Attend scheduled in-service trainings.
• Participate in Dining Services Department studies and projects as assigned.
• Any additional duties as assigned by Dining Services Manager or Assistant Dining Services Manager.
