Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare high-quality meals according to recipes and special diet orders, while coordinating with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef on inventory and supply management.

The role requires at least two years in a hotel kitchen or similar operation, knowledge of sanitation standards, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently and with the team.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of experience in hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with restaurant team.
• Self-motivated, organized and professional.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and diet orders.
• Assist in managing all aspects of food and supply management, including securing items for prep, storing leftovers, and maintaining inventories.
