Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time kitchen teammate to prepare high-quality meals and manage food and supply tasks under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage. You will help ensure recipes and special diets are followed and inventories are properly maintained.

Two years of experience in hotel, restaurant, or similar kitchen settings, plus strong sanitation knowledge and customer-service skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with restaurant team members.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Collaborate with Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management, including securing items for prep, storing leftovers correctly, and maintaining inventories.
