Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Controlled Entry Driver for Mount Holly, NC. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and maintain a visible security presence at an industrial site, while delivering courteous service to employees and visitors.

The role offers flexible day shifts with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour and opportunities to expand responsibilities through our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel following site-specific access procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain logs.
• Control access to manufacturing/industrial areas and document deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
