Allied Universal in Darlington, SC is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Entry Control to manage entry points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor communications at a manufacturing and industrial site. As a Security Officer, you will perform routine patrols, respond to alarms, and maintain accurate access logs while providing excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, and this role offers flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation as a condition of employment.
Background histories considered in line with laws.
Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access logs.
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
Conduct regular patrols of facility areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
Document incidents, observations, and access activities through required reports and communicate during shift handoffs.
