Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time role in Mount Holly, NC. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include patrols, incident response, and reporting unusual activity. A valid driver’s license and HS diploma are required, with background checks and a drug screen as part of employment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with facility requirements.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, receive and document deliveries as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
