Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for a driving-access control role in Concord, NC. The officer will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The position emphasizes customer service and adherence to site policies at a food and beverage production location. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ (21+ for armed roles), HS diploma or equivalent, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license per policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor credentials, and delivery documentation.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain logs, issue/collect access credentials, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents calmly following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, perimeters, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
