Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Saint Pauls, NC, to manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This part-time role requires a valid driver’s license, offers training and growth opportunities, and supports a welcoming environment at a food/beverage site. Schedule includes day/night shifts to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct personnel in accordance with facility requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing and reporting unusual activity, access-control concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and food processing facility grounds.
