Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Huntersville, NC seeks compassionate Care Partners to support residents with activities of daily living in a team-based environment. You will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while prioritizing dignity, safety, and comfort.

These part-time roles require strong communication, empathy, and a willingness to participate in weekend rotations. A high school diploma and state-approved caregiver training or a path to certification are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or willingness/ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) while following safety and licensing guidelines.
• Provide compassion, engagement, and companionship to promote independence and dignity.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication among residents, families, and staff.
