Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Mooresville NC is seeking dedicated Care Partners to provide compassionate direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work in a team to maintain dignity and privacy and uphold community protocols.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and promoting independence; supporting memory care residents when needed; participating in life enrichment activities; and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state such as CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
• Experience with memory care is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) following safety guidelines.
• Promote independence and provide emotional support and companionship.
• Support participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping (beds, tidying rooms).
• Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
