Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a young female with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with ADLs, provide supervision during community outings, and help maintain a safe, uplifting home environment. Fridays 1pm-5pm, usually part-time, with opportunities to extend.

Must have a valid driver's license, pass background checks, and at least one year of caregiving or relevant training. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

The individual is a young female in need of a companion to support with ADL's, and supervision in community outings.

The role pays $16.00 hourly.

Schedule: Fridays 1pm-5pm
