Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver for a 26-year-old female with I/DD to provide compassionate support with ADLs, personal hygiene, and community outings. The role is offered on an independent contractor basis and pays $16.00 per hour.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm. Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, can pass background screening, and have at least one year of caregiving experience or relevant training.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience or relevant training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is a 26-year-old female in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene tasks, and community outings.
