Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, and dependable to help individuals with I/DD achieve independence. The position is offered as an independent contractor and pays $16.00 per hour. Schedule includes Monday–Friday evenings and flexible weekends.

Ideal candidates will display patience, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities include home activities, personal care, meal prep, light cleaning, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training (as stated).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 5pm-8pm, flexible weekends 4pm-7pm.
