Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver/companion to assist with ADLs, light housekeeping, and community outings for individuals with I/DD. This role emphasizes promoting independence and community engagement while providing friendly, supportive assistance.

The position is offered on an independent contractor basis, not as an employee, with an hourly pay of $16.00. Schedule is Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 6pm, with responsibilities including daily activities

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience or technical training.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Seeking a compassionate caregiver/companion to assist with ADLs, light housekeeping, and community outings. The individual enjoys conversation and companionship, as well as going out to eat. Ideal candidate will provide supportive, friendly assistance while helping promote independence and community engagement.

Schedule

Monday to Thurs from 2pm - 6pm

• Provide a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
