Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver to support a young male with I/DD to maintain independence and participate in social activities. The role is contracted on an independent basis and pays $16.00 hourly. Schedule: Sun 8am-1pm, Wed 8am-2pm, Sat 10am-3pm.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, background screening clearance, at least 1 year of caregiving experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate should be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicant must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and errands.
• Promote communication, choice, independence and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

The individual is a young male in need of a caregiver to support with supervision and transportation in community outings. Likes to do social outings related to fitness and sports.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16.00 hourly.

Schedule: Sunday 8am-1pm, Wednesday 8am-2pm and Saturday 10am-3pm
