Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and dedicated to helping individuals with I/DD achieve independence and live their best life.

The role is an independent contractor position, not an employee of the company, with an hourly pay rate of $16.00. The schedule is 4pm-9pm with flexible days, supporting an elderly male in daily activities and community outings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is an elderly male in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene tasks, and community outings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16.00 hourly.

Schedule

4pm-9pm, Flexible days.
