Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician in California to maintain safe, clean and attractive community spaces. You will perform routine interior/exterior maintenance, inspect property conditions, and coordinate with management and vendors as needed.

The role requires knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and the ability to operate common tools. You will work with residents and staff, perform preventive tasks, and respond to emergencies while

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in building maintenance/repair
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical & carpentry
• Occasional overtime is required

Responsibilities

• Complete regular inspections and audits
• Provide status updates to Facility Managers
• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings/equipment
• Paint interior/exterior walls as needed
• Move and arrange furniture for meetings
• Maintain common areas and safety compliance
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with management
