Job summary

FirstService Residential in San Francisco is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to ensure the integrity of our community structures, handling plumbing, heating, cooling, and appliances. The role reports to the General Manager and requires 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Two years of building maintenance experience.
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English; bilingual Spanish helpful.
• Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs of common area buildings and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document work orders.
• Follow safety precautions at all times.
• Repair lighting, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Paint interior/exterior walls and structures as needed.
• Move furniture for meetings or projects and set up rooms.
• Respond to emergencies; coordinate with responders.
• Regularly inspect property and replace as needed.
