Job summary

Building One Community in Stamford, CT, is seeking a Part-Time Community Support Coordinator to oversee the Community Basket program, food distribution, and the Tax Aid Preparation Program during tax season. The role includes case management, connecting clients to services, and collaborating with internal teams.

The position reports to the Family Services Manager, requires on-site presence, and involves occasional evenings, weekends, and volunteer supervision.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
• At least 2 years of social services or case management experience with immigrant populations.
• Bachelor's degree in a social services field preferred.
• Ability to travel to satellite offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expand the Community Basket program with schedules and access.
• Organize donations and manage intake, inventory, and distribution.
• Support the Tax Aid Preparation Program during tax season.
• Conduct intake meetings and plan to address food insecurity and related needs.
• Provide general case management and connect clients to services.
• Maintain up-to-date case files and manage Salesforce data.
• Collaborate with Family Services and Community Engagement teams.
• Supervise volunteers and support food distribution and tax prep.
