Building One Community (B1C) in Stamford, CT, seeks a part‑time Community Engagement and Outreach Manager to build relationships, coordinate resources, and expand access to services for immigrant families. The role reports to the Associate Director of Family Services and supervises the Outreach Coordinator.

The position offers 20 hours per week with potential to grow to 25, requiring flexibility for evenings and weekends, and extensive field presence across Fairfield County.

Competenze

• 3–5 years in community partnerships, outreach, or nonprofit work; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Experience tracking partnership activities and outcomes; Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, schools, faith communities, businesses, consulates, and other institutions.
• Serve as liaison between B1C and external organizations to strengthen referral pathways and collaborations.
• Conduct field outreach, tabling, and events to raise awareness and recruit participants.
• Represent B1C at partner meetings, community fairs, coalitions, and other gatherings; deliver presentations.
• Collaborate with program teams to align partnerships with priorities and initiatives.
• Gather participant and community feedback and identify emerging needs, service gaps, and barriers.
• Coordinate events, workshops, health initiatives, and outreach activities with partners and service providers.
• Coordinate in‑kind donations and resources with Development and other teams.
• Supervise the Outreach Coordinator to ensure outreach aligns with partnership efforts.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of partners, resources, outcomes, and activities.
