Job summary

Building One Community in Stamford, CT seeks a part-time Community Support Coordinator to provide case management and family support services for immigrants and their families. This on-site role focuses on intake assessments, referrals, and connecting participants to B1C programs and community resources.

Responsibilities include maintaining case files, data entry in Salesforce, coordinating events with local providers, and supervising volunteers.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Minimum 2 years of social services or case management experience with immigrant or underserved populations.
• Bachelor's degree in a social services field.
• Strong multicultural awareness and trauma-informed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to satellite offices and off-site locations as needed.
• Experience with Salesforce or other database systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with program beneficiaries and assess needs during the intake process; develop a plan to address expressed needs.
• Provide general case management assistance to program beneficiaries with domestic violence, medical care, emergency support, mental health services, housing assistance, and other critical needs.
• Connect program beneficiaries to internal and external services and conduct follow-up to track progress and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain up-to-date case files; enter and manage data; generate reports and analyze program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Family Services and Community Engagement teams to expand community connections and resource partnerships.
• Coordinate and support onsite events in partnership with local service providers.
• Provide guidance on navigating public benefits, school systems and other community resources.
• Supervise and engage volunteers supporting family activities and events.
