Job summary

Building One Community (B1C) in Stamford, CT seeks a part-time Community Engagement and Outreach Manager to develop and sustain partnerships that expand access to services for immigrant families. Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Community Development, Human Services, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of three to five years in community partnerships, outreach, or nonprofit work, including supervisory experience.
• Experience working with diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Salesforce knowledge is a plus and beneficial for data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, schools, faith communities, businesses, consulates, and other institutions.
• Serve as liaison between B1C and external organizations to strengthen referral pathways and opportunities.
• Direct outreach in the field with the Outreach Coordinator, including tabling and events to raise awareness and recruit participants.
• Represent B1C at partner meetings, community fairs, coalitions, and deliver presentations to groups.
• Collaborate with program teams to align partnerships with priorities and initiatives.
• Gather feedback from participants and communities to identify needs, gaps, and barriers.
• Coordinate events, workshops, health initiatives, tabling, and other activities with partners; support major events and outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate in-kind donations and community resources with Development and Family Services teams; cultivate donor relationships and distribution events.
• Supervise the Outreach Coordinator to ensure alignment with partnership efforts.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of partners, resources, activities, feedback, and outcomes in Salesforce or other systems.
