McAlister's Deli is seeking a Part-Time Equipment Technician to support Nashville-area restaurant locations. You will diagnose, repair and perform light preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment, including ovens, toasters, walk-ins, and refrigeration units.

Ideal candidates are mechanically minded, able to work independently, comfortable in fast-paced restaurant environments, and available for on-call or flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration helpful.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working in restaurant environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Merrychef ovens.
• Repair and maintain commercial toasters and small kitchen appliances.
• Perform light preventative maintenance on air conditioning units, walk-in coolers, refrigeration equipment.
• Replace minor parts (switches, fans, heating elements, belts, etc.).
• Identify issues before major breakdowns occur.
• Coordinate with management when outside vendors are required.
• Maintain basic service records for repairs and maintenance performed.
