Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in the Nashville area is seeking a reliable Part-Time Equipment Technician to support our restaurant locations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform light preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.

Ideally you have experience in appliance repair, restaurant equipment service, HVAC, or general mechanical maintenance. This role offers flexible part-time hours and on-call opportunities with management support.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment preferred.
• Basic HVAC and refrigeration knowledge helpful.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working in restaurant environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Merrychef ovens.
• Repair and maintain commercial toasters and small kitchen appliances.
• Perform light preventative maintenance on air conditioning units, walk-in coolers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Replace minor parts such as switches, fans, heating elements, belts.
• Identify issues before major breakdowns occur.
• Coordinate with management when outside vendors are required.
• Maintain basic service records for repairs and maintenance performed.
