Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a dependable CNA for a part-time Staffing Coordinator role at our Greenville location. The schedule runs 3 days a week, 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA delivers in-home care, assists with daily living tasks, and follows a patient-centered care plan. Responsibilities include direct patient care, hygiene assistance, transfers, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care as instructed by supervising staff.
• Prepare meals with consideration of dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and activities according to client needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client condition.
• Complete EVV tasks/time sheets as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability when reporting to work.
• Respect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow the Plan of Care; never administer medications.
