Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to work part-time as a Staffing Coordinator in our Greenville location. The role involves providing direct patient care in the home, with a schedule of 3 days per week from 12n–5pm, and the opportunity for excellent pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers and daily living activities, maintaining Plan of Care, and recording client condition changes.

Qualifications

• Must maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication; read, write, and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned in the patient's residence.
• Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and assist with prescribed exercises as directed by supervising staff.
• Prepare meals with client dietary needs in mind.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the agency.
• Record changes in client condition and report to supervisor.
