Job summary

Action Health Staffing—Greenville location is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time Staffing Coordinator role. The position features a 3 days/week schedule from 12:00 to 17:00 with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA provides in-home patient care, adheres to the Plan of Care, and maintains accurate records. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, transfers, basic nursing tasks, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care, such as bathing, shaving, hair and mouth care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising staff.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Participate as a team member to ensure high quality health care.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete EVV tasks as per Aide Plan time sheets when needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting as assigned.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting client independence within ability scope.
• Perform other duties according to the care plan.
