Job summary

Action Health Staffing in Greenville, NC seeks a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Home Care team as a part-time Staffing Coordinator. Your role includes coordinating care, collaborating with clients and families, and ensuring plans of care are followed.

This position offers 3 days per week, 12:00–5:00 pm, with competitive pay and benefits. You will perform direct patient care tasks as needed and maintain accurate records and EVV time sheets per plan of care.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care and assistance with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising professionals.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to client needs.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Adhere to Plan of Care and EVV time sheets.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctuality and reliability.
• Respect patient confidentiality and privacy.
