Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services in Greenville, NC is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time Staffing Coordinator role. The schedule is three days per week, 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm, with excellent pay and benefits.

The role supports home care patients in their residences and requires compassionate, reliable care. The CNA will provide direct patient care, assist with transfers, personal hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping, while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills including reading, writing and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide personal hygiene care and meal preparation.
• Provide basic nursing care and follow care plans.
• Maintain records required by the agency and report changes.
• Follow EVV tasks and time sheets as needed.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy and the Patients' Bill of Rights.
• Notify supervisor of abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions.
