Action Health Staffing in Fremont, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care in the Wilson area. Schedule: Monday–Wednesday 12:00–5:00, Friday 1:00–4:00. Excellent pay!

As a home care aide, you will deliver direct patient care in the client’s residence, assist with daily living tasks, and collaborate with a care team to maintain high-quality health care.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervisors.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client dietary needs.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client’s condition.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctually reporting as assigned.
