Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the 35856 AMC Sheboygan County – Med Surg: IU Garden department. The role entails 24 hours per week with scheduling on a third weekend and alternating holidays. The position offers a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour and benefits eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Performs purposeful rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision of RN.
• Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Keeps stock stocked in nursing areas and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Assists with patient positioning and transporting and supports nutritional needs.
• Maintains skin integrity and manages patient supplies and devices.
