Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support Registered Nurses in the Gastrointestinal Services unit in Sheboygan, WI. The role involves direct patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, and assisting with admissions and transfers.

Requires BLS certification and Nurse Aide registration, with a GED/HSED or high school diploma. Current hospital-based certifications may be required, and shift availability is Monday–Friday 0600–1600. Pay range is $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Measures and documents vitals and other data in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Supports admission, transfer, discharge processes under supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
