Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must meet at least one of the following requirements: active on the Iowa registry, proof of 75-hour CNA course, EMT certification, or proof of military medical occupation training.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 30 days of hire and every 2 years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, compassionate, individualized patient care by assisting with activities of daily living.
• Assist with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with MercyOne's mission and care standards.
• Work under the direct supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Part-time schedule with 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week) on Day Shift.
• Weekend and holiday rotation.
